Abundance & Prosperity Muffin Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup sourdough discard
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
A pinch of powdered bay leaf (optional, or use whole bay leaf during ritual)
½ cup brown sugar or ⅓ cup honey
½ cup milk or plant-based alternative
1 egg
⅓ cup neutral oil or melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional crumble topping ingredients: 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 tablespoon butter, and a light dash of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Ritual Baking Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices. As you stir, repeat this intention: May abundance rise as this dough rises, bringing wealth and fruitful growth.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the sourdough discard, milk, egg, sugar or honey, oil, and vanilla. Blend mindfully and with purpose.
